About Brooke Henderson
Do you feel like you’ve hit rock bottom, like anxiety is taking over your life, or like your life can’t possibly get any crazier? Then you have come to the right place. Whether you are seeking support for a specific issue or simply looking to improve your overall well-being, Brooke is here to help!
Growing up all across the country, Brooke has moved from coast to coast and in between, so she understands how difficult it is to adjust to new environments and deal with unpredictable changes. She is passionate about helping children, adolescents, young adults, adults, siblings, and families overcome struggles, gain confidence, and improve communication skills.
Brooke has experience working in several levels of care. In partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient settings, she worked with both youth and adults primarily struggling with obsessive compulsive disorder, anxiety, depression, and suicidal ideation. In private practice, she continues to help clients with those struggles, along with specializing in trauma and post-traumatic stress disorder.
Brooke received her Master’s Degree in Psychology from Harvard University. She takes a client-centered approach while integrating several therapeutic techniques. She is experienced in Exposure Response Prevention (ERP), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, (CBT), Mindfulness, and Trauma Processing Therapy (CPT). Brooke provides her clients with evidence-based skills that people can utilize for the rest of their life.

You may feel intimidated or overwhelmed with the process of choosing a therapist and getting started- Brooke is committed to ensuring that you feel comfortable and confident in the therapeutic setting! She values the therapeutic relationship and provides a non-judgmental and trusting space for you to share what you are going through.
As a therapist, Brooke is collaborative, warm, and patient. Using a combination of knowledge, encouragement, and a sense of humor, the experience she provides is a down-to-earth and realistic approach to therapy.
Brooke is passionate about empowering individuals to heal, grow, and become their best selves- whatever that might look like.
In her spare time, she likes trying new Chicago restaurants, reading, and spending time with family, friends, and her precious Pug.
