About Nikkie Evans
Are you a teen navigating the pressure to fit in, a young adult feeling overwhelmed by the unpredictability of “real life,” a new mom struggling to find herself in the middle of motherhood, or a therapist trying to show up for others while wondering how to avoid burnout?
You're not alone- and you don't have to figure it out all on your own.

Nikkie is the founder of Nikkie Evans PLLC, a group therapy practice grounded in one simple but powerful belief: creating progress, not perfection. Whether it’s the quiet weight of comparison, the ache of feeling misunderstood in your relationships, or the exhaustion of constantly trying to be “enough,” Nikkie supports clients navigating life’s messy, vulnerable moments. Her passion is creating a safe, accepting space where you can show up exactly as you are—letting go of the pressure to have it all together, so you can slow down, reflect, and reconnect with the person beneath the anxiety, overthinking, “shoulds,” and roles you’ve been carrying. Because real growth happens when we embrace progress over perfection, celebrating each small step forward—exactly as it is.
Nikkie has over a decade of experience specializing in working with late teens and young adults who are feeling overwhelmed by transitions—starting or leaving college, building new friendships, figuring out careers, or simply trying to feel like they belong in their own skin.

She’s also passionate about working with moms—new moms, seasoned moms, moms who are navigating the stressors of pregnancy, the demands of the postpartum period, feeling totally overwhelmed or like they’re not doing enough, struggling with all consuming mom guilt, identity shifts, feeling overstimulated, “touched out,” or like they’re barely holding it together under the pressure to do it all. Nikkie knows what it’s like to compare yourself to everyone else, to constantly feel like you should be doing more, and to feel overwhelmed by the sheer mental load of motherhood. She helps women rediscover their identity, find their voice, and feel more like themselves again.

Another area close to Nikkie's heart is working with fellow therapists, particularly those newer to the field. She loves helping clinicians explore their own boundaries, reconnect with what brought them into this work, and build careers that are both meaningful and sustainable.

Prior to working as a therapist, Nikkie volunteered at the local church for more than seven years leading small groups for girls to empower them to live their best lives, spiritually, emotionally, and relationally. Her personal faith and spiritual journey also allow her to provide faith-based counseling to clients. (Note: We are proud to serve ALL faiths at Nikkie Evans PLLC. We respect all beliefs and only offer faith-based counseling upon request.)

Taking the first step and asking for help can feel overwhelming. Maybe you're giving therapy a try for the first time, or maybe you’re returning after a break— either way, you don’t have to do it alone. Nikkie offers a space that’s relational, strengths-based, compassionate, and collaborative. If you’re navigating a major life change, feeling anxious or stuck, or simply in need of a place to land, she’ll meet you right where you are. Nikkie believes in your capacity for growth and real lasting progress, and would be honored to walk alongside you.
In her spare time, Nikkie loves spending time with her husband and three kids, going to local farmers markets, listening to music, baking, and spending time with friends.
