About Nikkie Evans

Are you feeling stuck, stressed, or anxious?  Do you or your child need help to improve confidence, manage anxiety, or cope with your current life circumstances?  If you want tools to manage stress, improve confidence, and keep up with the demands of today —

Nikkie has you covered!

Nikkie grew up in Deerfield and understands the challenges adolescents and adults face to fit in, meet expectations, and be the best. Nikkie is passionate about working with adolescents, young adults, adults, moms, and families who are working through a life transition (school, pregnancy, motherhood, friendship, marriage, divorce, career, etc), anxiety, low self-esteem, perfectionism, depression, poor communication skills, work & family life balance, juggling many roles, family or relational conflict, and difficulty connecting and making friends. She strives to create a comfortable, safe, empowering, and creative environment where her clients can work towards their unique and individual goals.

Prior to private practice, Nikkie served adolescents in a top eating disorder residential program.  There, she provided therapy for girls struggling with eating disorders, low self-esteem, poor body image, anxiety, life skills, and assertiveness skills. She also provided crisis evaluation and therapy at inpatient care for adolescents and families at Alexian Brothers Behavioral Health Hospital.

Nikkie loves this community and is committed to giving back. In fact, she has volunteered for more than 7 years leading small groups for girls to empower them to live their best lives, spiritually, emotionally, and relationally.

Nikkie currently leads a weekly virtual process group for teen girls.  This process style groups allow teens to connect through mutual struggles, offer support to one another, as well as learn clinical tools to help them survive & thrive- not only the challenges of today, but for their adult life ahead!  New clients are currently being added to the teen girls group- please contact Nikkie for more information.

Taking the first step to seek out help can feel scary!  Nikkie strives to create a comfortable, safe, empowering, and creative environment where you can work towards your unique goals.  If you want the tools to manage stress, improve confidence, and be the best version of yourself, Nikkie has the passion, experience, and skills to help you live life to the fullest!

In her spare time, Nikkie loves spending time with her husband and kids, going to local farmers markets, listening to music, baking, and spending time with friends.
