Anxiety, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder & Phobias

If you or your child are feeling trapped by fear — whether it’s constant worry, intrusive thoughts, panic, or fears of specific situations, objects, or sensations — you’re not alone.

Anxiety, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), and phobias can take over daily life in ways that feel exhausting, confusing, and overwhelming.

These concerns often show up as a need for certainty, reassurance, avoidance, or rituals that temporarily reduce anxiety but ultimately keep fear in control.

The good news: anxiety, OCD, and phobias are highly treatable. With the right tools, support, and evidence-based care, things can get better.

How We Help

At Creating Progress, we support children, teens, and adults navigating anxiety, OCD, and phobias — from everyday worries to intense, “sticky” fears that won’t seem to let go. We specialize in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) and other evidence-based therapies to help clients gradually face fears, reduce avoidance and compulsions, and build confidence from the inside out.

Treatment is collaborative, supportive, and paced thoughtfully — never forced.

What Anxiety, OCD, or Phobias Might Look Like

Excessive worry or fear that feels hard to control

Repetitive fears about germs, illness, harm, or making mistakes

Intrusive thoughts or mental images that feel upsetting, “wrong,” or scary

Panic symptoms or fear of physical sensations (heart racing, nausea, shortness of breath)

Avoiding places, people, activities, or situations (driving, school, storms, vomiting, being far from home)

Repetitive behaviors, mental rituals, or constant reassurance-seeking to feel safe

Difficulty with school, sleep, friendships, work, or independence due to anxiety

ERP (Exposure and Response Prevention)
The gold standard for OCD and phobia treatment, helping you gradually face fears without rituals or avoidance.

We know how deeply anxiety, OCD, and phobias can affect the whole family. But we also know that change is possible — and that no one should have to fight anxiety alone.

Let’s work together to help you or your loved one feel more free, grounded, and in control again.
