If you're up for it, Kayla will help you to dive into the past and find out how it influences you today. Together, you will look at patterns and boundaries, and discover how to adapt all those critical thoughts.
Some of the treatment modalities Kayla uses most frequently include: Psychodynamic Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Internal Family Systems, and Solution Focused Brief Therapy.
Whether you are here due to a life transition, grief, trauma, past issues, or present concerns, Kayla would love to hear from you, and support you in navigating a path forward together. It's Kayla's desire to empower and equip you so that you can experience a life where you are not just living, but thriving.
Kayla is also highly specialized in supporting individuals struggling with infertility. Tired of people telling you to "just relax" or to eat some obscure fruit to help with a medical condition like infertility? When it comes to trying to conceive, and living life in the middle of the waiting, it makes a difference talking to someone who gets it.
Often when we set out on the path to becoming a parent, many of us assume it will go smoothly and without a single hiccup. When we are then faced with an infertility diagnosis, a loss, or a medical complication, that path becomes riddled with challenges. It can feel isolating, frustrating, and unfair.
If you are a mother who just had a miscarriage, a partner struggling to support your wife through IVF treatments, or contemplating alternate routes to parenthood, you are not alone. This part of life is challenging for so many. 1 in 4 pregnancies end in loss and 1 in 8 couples experience infertility.
These major events can be traumatic, and leave you to try and pick up the pieces. As a therapist, Kayla is there to support you through this phase of life.
Kayla is committed to creating a safe and trusting space, where you can bring every piece of you, while creating the changes that you desire, so that you can live your best life. Whatever you have going on, she will work with you to figure it out together!
In her spare time, Kayla is a 'full on foodie' who enjoys cooking and baking. She also enjoys spending time with her husband and chasing around her mini tornados of children.
