About Courtney Logan
Are you noticing your teen pulling away, feeling overwhelmed by school, struggling with friendships, or being especially hard on themselves? Are you a parent feeling unsure of how to best support your neurodivergent child, or an educator navigating burnout and the emotional toll of constantly showing up for others?

Courtney is passionate about creating a grounded, compassionate space for tweens, teens, young adults, and parents who are feeling stretched thin, stuck in perfectionism, or struggling to feel understood in the worlds they move through. Whether you're navigating school stress, performance anxiety, big emotional waves, or the growing pains of adolescence or early adulthood—you're not alone, and you don’t have to navigate it all on your own.

Courtney brings a calming, warm, collaborative, and conversational presence to her work with clients. She values connection, trust, and gentle encouragement—offering thoughtful nudges that help people build insight, confidence, and momentum. She blends apporaches such as CBT, DBT, psychodynamic, and strengths based therapy- always tailoring her approach to meet your unique needs. She will work with you to build practical skills, deepen self-awareness, and move toward meaningful progress.
Courtney works with tweens and teens, young adults, and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, perfectionism, low self-esteem, social struggles, executive functioning challenges, self-harm, and suicidal thoughts. She also specializes in supporting neurodivergent individuals—including those with autism and ADHD—while offering practical, real-life tools to strengthen emotional regulation, organization, and social communication. Courtney is equally passionate about helping parents of neurodivergent children feel more equipped and supported in their parenting journey.

With a Master’s in Social Work from the University of Illinois at Chicago, Courtney currently works as both a school social worker and therapist in group outpatient practice. Her experience in schools gives her a deep understanding of the systems young people are navigating, and she brings that insight into her collaborative work with families, teachers, and other support providers. She also works closely with parents navigating the IEP process- offering guidance and support through individual sessions and parent groups. Courtney is passionate about providing a safe, validating space for educators and helping professionals who are experiencing exhaustion, compassion fatigue, or questioning how to keep doing the work they care deeply about without losing themselves in the process.

Before stepping into her current roles, Courtney worked as a pediatric therapist supporting children with autism in building emotional awareness, social skills, and peer connection—experience that continues to shape her strengths-based, neuro-affirming approach today.
Courtney is also an enthusiastic volleyball coach who is passionate about supporting athletes both on and off the court. She specializes in working with student-athletes experiencing disordered eating, performance anxiety, identity transitions, and the emotional impact of entering or leaving competitive sports.

Courtney holds a strong interest in supporting new and working moms—especially those navigating identity shifts, emotional overwhelm, or the mental load of parenting. She knows that becoming a parent (or rebalancing life as one) can feel both beautiful and brutally hard, and she offers a space where moms can show up fully—mess and all.

Courtney's personal faith and spiritual journey also allow her to provide faith-based counseling to clients. (Note: We are proud to serve ALL faiths at Nikkie Evans PLLC. We respect all beliefs and only offer faith-based counseling upon request.)

Whether you're reaching out for yourself, your child, or your family, Courtney brings warmth, care, and a deep belief in each client’s capacity to grow. Her work blends reflection and action, helping clients better understand what’s been getting in their way, while equipping them with tools to move forward with greater clarity and self-compassion. If you're ready to feel more connected, supported, and in tune with yourself, reach out today! Courtney is ready to walk alongside you and provide the support you need.

In her free time, Courtney enjoys spending quality time with her husband and daughter, riding bikes, exploring new restaurants, cooking, and working out.
